Photos of work carried out on the South Tyne Broadband Project, which uses the trackbed of the old Alston-Haltwhistle railway line to deliver superfast broadband to homes and businesses along the valley.  It is one of 7 Market Test Pilots to test innovative ways of connecting the final 5% of homes in the UK.
