Thanks to everyone for your help, advice and support during 2017.  The work on PhysioDom, ActiveAdvice and Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnership has been our main focus this year, along with continued advice on rural broadband issues to public sector organisations.  We have also taken some of our expertise of co-ops and community infrastructure to develop electric vehicle charging points.  Moving into 2018, we have recently completed a bid with Quickline on trialling 5G technologies in Cumbria and Northumberland plus will be carrying out further work to promote the PhysioDom system.

It was a fantasitc achievement to finish the PhysioDom project, and seeing the benefits to so many people's health.  The project has been popular around Alston Moor with several participants doing more exercise and losing weight.

The team is currently delivering these projects:

  1. Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnership project, providing business support to social enterprises around the County and running events
  2. ActiveAdvice Project which will improve the take up and use of Assisted Living technology
  3. Charge My Street www.facebook.com/chargemystreet - commmunity funded electric vehicle charging points

Its also been a successful year for promoting Cybermoor - we attended a round table with Lord Gardener, Minister for Rural Affairs who was really inspired by Cybermoor's work in gettnig people on line.  We also presented Cybermoor at a range of other industry and rural events.
