Gallery 1611

Gallery 1611 houses the ceramic artwork of Syl and Ray Macro, inspired by the ever changing textures and colours of the surrounding landscape. Syl uses a highly original technique of coloured clay assemblage to create panels and vessels. Ray's designs for pierced wall and table lamps are inspired by the individual character and growth patterns of trees. Also on show in the gallery is a wide variety of work by other ceramic artists and potters from the Northern region.
