Cybermoor would like to pay tribute to Alston's Mark Watson who died tragically in a car accident in Alston in the early hours of Tuesday, 27th December aged 26 and whose funeral takes place today.
We have been honoured at Cybermoor over the years to be able to celebrate some of this incredible young man's many achievements, including ...
- Mark began winning trophies in 2004 in sidecar racing when he became British Under 21 Champion passenger.
- In 2007, Mark became British Sidecar Champion with his brother John.
- Mark quit the sidecar scene in 2008 and turned to quad racing.
- Mark pulled off his first first overall event victory in the British MMX Championship in 2009 at a round of the series staged at Dean Moor in Cumbria.
- In 2010, Mark finished second overall in the Goldspeed ACU British Quad Championship.
- Mark finished fourth overall in the 2011 British QuadX Championship.
- Mark was currently ranked in the top three overall in the UK.
Mark had been making a remarkable recovery from multiple injuries received in a horrendous crash when a quad landed on him in practice at a European Nations Quad-X event at Jauer, Germany, in September. On the road to recovery he had recently started preparing and training for the 2012 Quad-X season.

We pay tribute to a young man who had already achieved
so much in his relatively short life and who was obviously
destined for many more great accomplishments in his life
had it not been tragically cut short.
Our deepest sympathy to Mark's family and friends.
God Bless you Mark and may you rest in peace.
